Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At FlashbackFrames, we strive for 100 % customer satisfaction. This policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for our DVD-to-USB conversion service.


2. Cancellation Before Pickup

  • Full refund (minus any payment gateway fees) if you cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled pick-up slot.
  • To cancel: WhatsApp or call us at +91-88262 14661 or email support@flashbackframes.in with your Order ID.

3. Unreadable or Damaged Discs

  • If a disc fails to read during conversion, we will:
    • Return the original disc unconverted.
    • Refund 75%  amount for each unreadable disc (pro-rated from the event fee).
  • If all discs in an event are unreadable, we refund the full 75% amount fee.
  • No additional charges apply for partially unreadable events; we refund only for the unreadable portion.

4. Copyright or Non-Personal Content

  • We convert only private, family-event recordings.
  • If we find commercial or copyrighted content on a disc, we will:
    • Return the disc immediately, unconverted.
    • Refund the 75% attributable to that event.

5. Service Completion & “No-Fault” Returns

  • Once your USB and original discs are delivered and you have confirmed the files, the conversion service is considered complete.
  • We do not offer refunds for:
    • Discs that successfully convert even if you change your mind.
    • Quality issues arising from original footage (e.g., low resolution, camera shake).
    • Late delivery due to courier delays beyond our control.

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery via WhatsApp, phone, or email.
  2. Provide your Order ID and reason for the request.
  3. We will confirm eligibility within 1 business day.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to your original payment method.

7. Partial-Event Changes

  • No refunds are available once conversion has started.

8. Faulty USB Sticks

  • If the USB we supply is defective, we will replace it at no charge. No refund will be issued for USB defects—only replacement.

9. Refund Processing

  • Razorpay / UPI payments: credited back to the same account.
  • Refund timing depends on your bank or payment provider’s processing cycle.
